Bring Your Own Mug

A multi-faith conversation about stewardship of creation.

Date: Friday, March 14, 2014
Time: 6 – 8PM
Place: FBC 5590 N Nevada Ave (click here for directions)
Cost: $5 at the door

All faiths hold the belief that people should steward the earth. In the book of Genesis, God tells the first humans to tend and take care of the world. There are many interpretations of what this means, and this makes for good discussions about “going green.” We invite you to join the conversation about what we can do here in our city.

Watch inspiring stories from Renewal, a documentary about faith groups working to change their environment. (Watch the trailer here.)
Share in a conversation with people from our town on steps we can take individually and as a community.
Connect with local “green” groups who are already working to make a difference.

And yes, please bring your own mug – we’ll supply the coffee and cookies.

Discussion groups will follow the 45-minute film.
